WATCH: Back Suarez maul through the Boquerones in 4/1 double says Graham Hunter

Don’t get caught like a wet fish, get onto Suarez to break a surprising Barca duck against the Anchovies in one of the tightest title tussles in recent memory.

Malaga vs Barcelona

This is important for Barcelona. They’re wo points off top, with Real within a victory of over taking them, and even Villarreal closing in in fourth place. With a fixture against league leaders Atleti coming next weekend, this is must-win for the Catalonians. But they’ve had it tough against Malaga in the past. Worryingly, relegation threatened Granada have more goals away from home than Barcelona, while Malaga have the best home defence in Spain. Missing Gerard Pique will give the current Malaga squad a chance of scoring their first goal against Barca at home in eight years. Their best hope is Roque Santa Cruz, but maybe throw a peso on Charles as well. But I think Suarez will do the damage in the second half at.

Atletico Madrid vs Sevilla

Atleti won’t want to show any cracks and drop points at home to Sevilla. But the away side have only lost once in their last eight, and already have victories over Real and Barcelona this season. They’ll be gunning for revenge after the leaders beat them 3-0 in their own backyard. Diego Simone is unbeaten in fixtures against them though, and has a striker desperate to break the 100-goal mark in La Liga in Fernando Torres. El Nino’s last goal in May of 2015 took him to 99, and he’s to score anytime against Sevilla. If you’re smart though, you’ll back Griezmann at.  I don’t think Atleti will lose, but a draw at is tempting. If you think there’s an upset, take Gameiro anytime at

Real Betis vs Real Madrid

This one is a little bit dodgy, because we don’t know who’ll be on the pitch, and who’ll be on the sidelines. Betis are close to securing Juande Ramos as their new manager, and he could make his return against he team he was in charge of in a trophyless 2008-9 season. Gareth Bale is missing with another calf injury, and Karim Benzema is facing a late fitness test. Whether Cristano could steer his side past a sinking Betis is questionable. If Benzema plays, Madrid will win so a wincast isn’t the worst bet. But wait for news before splashing the cash.

Deportivo La Coruna vs Valencia

Gary Neville is fast learning the difference between punditry and management. He still hasn’t got a league win while in charge of Valencia. And against a side who have only lost two of their last eight games at home, I struggle to see how he can get one this weekend. I would be backing a score draw though at .Both teams have scored in over half of Valencia’s matches, and 60% of Deportivo’s.

WATCH: Graham Hunter says Bienvenue Zizou by tipping a 4/1 Real Madrid bet

It’s been a bit of a strange week in Spain. We had the sacking of Rafa Benitez (after winning 10-2), a fiery derby between Barcelona and Espanyol, and Gary Neville’s second win as boss of Valencia.

Real Madrid vs Deportivo

The legendary player returning to take charge of a club he was famous at. Madrid love scoring at home to Depor, so I’m saying a Real win , Bale and Ronaldo to continue their form with goals apiece. You never know with Depor. Lucas Perez is their key, if he shows up, he’ll score at anytime and Depor might shut down Zidane’s party.

  • Deportivo are averaging one point per game away from home, the same as their opponents;
  • Cristiano Ronaldo has contributed to nearly 70% of Madrid’s goals so far this season;

Real Sociedad vs Valencia

Gary Neville might have two wins under his belt, but neither of those have been in the league. He could pick it up this week at Sociedad. The ‘Royals’ are missing their star player Imanol Agirretxe for this game, and they haven’t been able to pick up the goalscoring slack. A score draw is likely, but maybe a Valencia win at

Barcelona vs Granada

The champions came out on top of that derby against Espanyol, and they will easily do so against Granada this weekend. Any of the three magistas up front should score, but Neymar will open the scoring at . For the opposition, Penaranda is the best bet to get a consolation at anytime. Barca hold a game in hand over the leaders Atleti, and a routine home win is what’s happening here

  • Barca can go top if Atleti drop points away to Celta;
  • Both teams have scored in 67% of Granada’s games – the highest ratio in La Liga;

City can buy title says Allardyce

Blackburn Rovers boss Sam AllardyceBlackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has admitted that Manchester City (8/1 to win the Premier League) could win the title if they can manage themselves in the right way.

Rovers face City on Saturday and they will be up for a tough challenge as they take on the Manchester club’s star studded line-up at Eastlands.

However, the Blues have not had the start to the campaign that many people expected as they have only picked up four points from their opening three games.

City (8/13 to finish in the top four) boss Roberto Mancini is still looking for combinations that work as the highly paid stars battle for first-team places.

Former Blues striker Benjani, who has since joined Rovers, believes that many of the players at his old club are simply there for the high wages they can earn at Eastlands.

However, Allardyce believes that City can achieve great things this season despite having the problem of keeping players happy at the club.

He said: “If he (Mancini) gets it right, as Jose (Mourinho) got it right for Chelsea after the huge amount of spending that Roman (Abramovich) did, and if you look back here with Kenny, he got it right and Blackburn won the Premier League.

“You can buy a league now, obviously Blackburn have proven that, Chelsea have proven that, and you can do it in a short period of time. If you manage the players right and get that team spirit right, then you’ll win anything,” he added.

In financial terms, Rovers and City are polar opposites in the Premier League, with Blackburn struggling to attract big names to Ewood Park. However, one name they did attract is Michel Salgado. The former Real Madrid defender is used to success after spending 10 years at the Santiago Bernabeu and is hoping to help Rovers improve in the Premier League this season.

The 34-year-old has also commented about Manchester City’s hunt for success, which he believes will take some time.

He said: “The difference between Manchester City and Real Madrid is Manchester City so far is a fashion club.

“They have to spend money to battle with the best teams in Europe. Maybe Manchester City in the future can get closer to Real Madrid but now it’s a different story.

“They are signing eight new players every year and that’s a problem. First of all you have to build a team.”

Seize the moment, says Robben

Arjen RobbenArjen Robben will tell his Bayern Munich team-mates they must take whatever chances come their way in the Champions League final against Internazionale on Saturday (23/10 Bayern Munich 9/4 draw 6/5 Inter Milan).

Holland winger Robben knows games at the highest level are often decided by fractions and believes the Bundesliga giants must be clinical in front of goal to have any hope of winning Europe’s elite club competition for the first time since 2001.

Robben has weighed in with some crucial goals en route to the Santiago Bernabeu and says Bayern must stick to their attacking principals (11/2 Robben – First and Last Goalscorer).

He also expects the Serie A champions not to sit back as much as they did when holding out against Barcelona with 10 men at the Nou Camp in the second leg of the semi-finals.

“I don’t expect Inter to defend as much as they did against Barcelona, though of course they also had a player sent off,” said Robben.

“We have to play our own game. We can’t change our tactics. We’ve played the whole season the same way and that’s what we will do in the final as well.”

He added: “On the day you have to sometimes be a bit lucky, but at least you have to be sharp in front of goal and the chances you get you have to take.”

The game takes on extra significance for Robben because he will be lining up against his former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, at the home of Real Madrid – the club he left in August 2009.

The 26-year-old, a title winner with Spain’s capital club, says he is relishing the chance to go back to Madrid and help Bayern win the Champions League – but not for personal gains.

Bayern remain on course for the treble and Robben is keen to put the team before any personal accolades.

When asked if he had a point to prove, Robben said: “Yes, but not particularly in this game. I can already be satisfied about this season. But of course this is the highest occasion for a football player, also as an individual, so hopefully I can have a good game. But it’s not to show people, it’s to win the title.”

He added on uefa.com: “That’s the most important thing. If I have a terrible game and we win in the end it’s all good.”

Robben said he and his team-mates did not expect to reach the final this season but that they did not want to waste a golden opportunity to win a major European trophy.

He said: “It’s funny, the club didn’t expect us to be in the final this year. The main goal was to win the championship and that’s what we did. But now we’re in the final, it’s a unique opportunity and you have to try and win it.

“You have to give all on this day and I think we will see 22 players who will play for their lives.”
