We use several approaches to handicapping soccer, and it is tireless work requiring hours of research. Statistical analysis plays a big role, and so does studying situational trends. Player motivation and psychological factors are also very important. We also evaluate player fitness and roster changes.  Above all we look for plays that offer value, and we only recommend bets when the odds are in our favour.

Q: What percentage of games do you expect to win?

Please check the results section for our past performance. As you can see, we win at least 57% of our plays, and for many leagues our winning percentage is well over 60%. Please note that the majority of our plays are at odds ranging from 1.83 (-120) to 2.20 (+120). But more important than winning percentage is actual profits, and as you can see we won over 180 units in 2003 and 108 units in 2004, which is over $29,500 clear profit betting just $100 per play.  

Q: How do you rate your plays?

We don't use a fancy 3* or 5* rating system like other handicappers. The vast majority of bets are advised to level stakes. But if we have a particularly strong play, we'll advise doubling your normal stake. These are rare picks which represent excellent value and have a higher than normal chance of winning. It's up to you whether to bet more on those plays, but in general it's best to keep all your wagers the same size.  

Q: What types of bets do you advise? Do you play the Over/Under?

Most of the picks we release are either fixed odds or Asian Handicap bets. In soccer, there are three options in a traditional moneyline (1X2): Home Win, Away Win, and Draw. If you bet on Away Win and the match ends in a draw, the bet loses. To eliminate the draw option we often advise Asian Handicap bets giving a team a +0.5 goal advantage. In this case, a bet on the away team at +0.5 goals is a winning bet if the match ends in a draw. We also release Over/Under bets from time to time. In soccer the Over/Under is almost always 2.5 goals.

Q: How does your Guarantee work?

All our picks packages are guaranteed to win or you receive a full credit refund. If you buy a picks package that does not turn a profit, you will receive another picks package of equal value absolutely free. If that free picks package does not win, you will receive another picks package for free. This ensures you only pay for winning picks. We are so confident in our handicapping ability that if we don't win, you don't pay.

Q: How can I receive the picks? And when are the picks released?

All picks will be sent by email no later than 2 hours before match kickoff. Roster changes and last minute team news are crucial factors in our handicapping decisions, and our results would suffer if we disregarded these factors by releasing picks earlier. Picks can also be sent by SMS text message to your mobile phone.

Q: How many picks do you release per day/week?

Since the majority of soccer games are played on weekends, you'll find most of our picks are clustered around the weekend games. You can expect between 3-8 picks for each Saturday and Sunday, and another 2-5 picks during the week between Monday and Friday.

Q: What are your strongest picks or leagues?

If you check our results, you'll notice our UEFA Cup and Champions League picks are particularly strong as well as many domestic European leagues with a win rate well over 60%. The hardest league to handicap is the English Premiership because the English oddsmakers are more sophisticated. But we still have an excellent win rate over 57% for our English soccer picks.

Q: Do you handicap any other sports?

No. Unlike other jack-of-all-trades handicappers, we specialize in and devote our attention exclusively to soccer. We can, however, recommend handicappers for sports like Football, Basketball, Hockey and Baseball.
